My current film doesn’t stick to my paint finish. What can I do to find the right product? The best option is to send us a small sample of the metal you are trying to apply the film. We can quickly find the correct adhesion range and provide you with samples to insure that it meets your requirements. This usually takes only a few days on most applications. We are hand applying the protective film currently and would like to purchase a applicator. What do we need to do? Applicators can make applying protective film easier, better and more cost effective than manual application. Please contact us and tell us about your needs. We have several options available to help you make your choice. I want to have my film printed with my logo on it. What do I need to do? One of MD Direct’s biggest advantage is our printing technology. We offer the highest quality printing that is all done in-house. We can print up to 3 colors in a surface print. Please provide us with your company logo and any wording you would like on your film. You can get as detailed as you want. We will then provide you with a printing plate proof to sign before we start production. The process takes about 1-2 weeks to get the proofs back to the customer. How many square feet are on my roll of film? There is an easy calculation. Example 48″ x 1000′ Roll (48″ divided by 12 x 1000′)= 4000 s/f How much do samples cost? The initial samples are free. It is part of our business process to have samples tested by the customer to insure the product is tested before we start production. Typically samples are 150′ long and can be slit to your specific widths. What colors can the film be made in? Because we blow our own films in-house we can produce custom colors to meet the customers needs. Standard colors include Blue, White, Clear, Yellow, Red, Green, Black, and White.
